How do you determine an item’s condition?

New With Tags- Pristine, never used condition. Tags still attached. New Without Tags- No wear to the item. Never used condition, but without tags. Excellent - Only slight signs of wear. Does not diminish the overall appearance of the item. Very Good - Well-maintained. Shows minor signs of wear that are consistent with light use. Good – Shows signs of regular use. Item shows visible wear. Fair - Heavily used. Visible signs of wear that impact the appearance of item.

 

How do you authenticate?

Linda’s Stuff sells 100% authentic designer items. We have a reserve of professional authenticators that examine each item and verify authenticity. We do not sell counterfeits or reproductions. We are happy to provide proof of authenticity upon request.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

If you are a buyer within the state of PA there will be a 6% sales tax added to your order, except on items that are tax exempt.

What if my size is not available?

We post new items on our site, daily! Keep checking back with us!

Where is my order confirmation?

eBay will send buyers an email confirmation once a shipping label has been created. It is important to keep your eBay account information up-to-date so correspondences can be as efficient and accurate as possible.

What are our shipping options?
We ship out of our warehouse 5 days a week and we ship within 2 business days of receiving payment.
We offer FREE domestic shipping on all items! Exclusions may apply*
Linda's Stuff reserves the right to ship UPS with Signature Required for any order totaling over $750 USD.

Can I pay for faster shipping?

We do accommodate expedited shipping requests. Standard shipping (2-5 business days) costs $10 for UPS Ground or USPS Priority depending on the weight and destination. One-day shipping (1 business day) costs $40 and we use UPS Next Day Air Saver.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Please refer to our International Shipping Policy, below:

RETURNS

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. We will process your refund exactly the way we received your payment. If you have any questions about your purchase, please email us at shop@shoplindasstuff.com or call us at 215-956-9190.

How do I return an item?

We accept returns within 14 days for money back transactions. If you have any questions regarding your item(s), please email us at shop@shoplindasstuff.com call us at 215-956-9190 or 1-866-68-LINDA (54632).

If possible, use the original box sent to you. Please enclose the form that accompanied your order or include a short note stating the item number, your name, email address and why you are returning. On the side of your return box, please write your last name in large uppercase letters. You have 14 days to return the item(s) from the date you received the package. You will be refunded within three business days after we receive the returned item(s).

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

If you are returning an item because it was materially “not as described” then we will absorb the return shipping cost. Any other reason for return will be at your expense.

What if I receive a damaged item?

We strive to be as accurate as possible for an item’s condition description. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, customers can initiate a return. Please email us at shop@shoplindasstuff.com.

I’m ready to clean house (and definitely my closet!)...What should I be looking for?

Linda’s Stuff sells a wide variety of luxury fashion. We accept women’s, men’s and children’s clothing- even your gently used Lululemon! You got it- We want it! We want your pre-owned designer handbags, shoes and jewelry. We also sell home goods, collectibles and electronics. Tech sells! We’re looking for items that have a potential resale above $49. If you have something you’re unsure we’ll accept- Just ask!

My items are packed and ready...What’s next?

We offer complimentary at-home UPS scheduled pickups -OR- We can email you pre-paid shipping labels that allow you to ship your items when you want, for free! *Please note: UPS pickups and labels are valid within U.S. region only and uninsured. Although we are confident your shipment will arrive safely, we are not liable for damaged or lost packages.

Now that you’ve received my shipment, how long does your process take and when will I receive my first payment?

The speed that items move through each department varies on our current inventory levels. We estimate the length of time at around two weeks. Your invoice will be emailed to you approximately one month after your first sales. For example, if your first sales occur in the month of June you will receive a sales update within the first few weeks of July. Generally, payment is mailed 7 business days later.

How long will Linda’s Stuff keep my item(s)?

THE CONSIGNMENT PERIOD SHALL BEGIN ON THE DATE YOUR ITEMS ARE LISTED. WE’LL CONTINUE TO RELIST YOUR ITEMS FOR UP TO ONE YEAR UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US OTHERWISE. IF YOU HAVE ITEMS THAT REMAIN UNSOLD AFTER ONE YEAR, IT’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT US TO ARRANGE THEIR RETURN TO YOU (ALL RETURN SHIPPING IS AT YOUR EXPENSE, $20 PER BOX). AT THE END OF THE YEAR IF WE DON’T HEAR FROM YOU, THOSE ITEMS WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF LINDA’S STUFF

I want to send more items but I’m not sure if one of my handbags is authentic. It was a gift. What should I do?

Linda’s Stuff sells 100% authentic designer items. We’re happy to authenticate your item for you! We have a reserve of professional authenticators that examine each item andverify authenticity. We do not accept counterfeits or reproductions—If an item is determined to be inauthentic, the authentication expense we incurred for that item will be passed on to you ($20-$40 charge).

I have a lot of items I’d like to send to Linda’s Stuff, but I’m not sure what you’ll accept. Can you let me know what to do?

Our team of experts is available to discuss any brands you’d like to consign with us, before sending them in. If we do receive items with low resale value we will email you and proceed with either returning the items to you (at your expense) or donating them on your behalf. This policy is outlined in our consignment agreement, which must be filled out prior to beginning consignment with us. Items with damage like holes or stains will be deemed non-sellable and either returned to you or donated. That will also be true for items missing designer labels (no tag). The sky is the limit- think outside the box. But remember, items with discernable designer names sell the highest and quickest!

I’m addicted to consigning with Linda’s Stuff...How can I make the most money possible?

We pay the most! Our commission structure is a sliding scale. The more your items sell for the more you earn from the sale! For items that sell for $999 or less, you receive 62% of the sale For items that sell for $1,000 and above, you receive 75% of the sale For items that sell for $5,000 and above, you receive 80% of the sale

There are many options for where to consign in the secondhand market, why will I benefit the most from consigning with Linda’s Stuff?

With almost two decades of luxury resale experience to offer our consignors—Linda’s Stuff remains the leader in luxury consignment. We’ve implemented several selling strategies that give your items maximum exposure and generate the fastest sales! We begin your items at auction on eBay- This is a 7-day sale that encourages bidding among interested buyers. For example, Chanel ballet flats starting on auction at $199 are frequently bid up to above $400! If an item doesn’t receive bids by the end of the 7-day auction, we implement a fixed price or best offer option. The fixed price listing allows shoppers to achieve instant buying gratification and our consignors get exactly the price they had in mind. Adding a best offer option gives shoppers an opportunity to reach out about an item and begin a negotiation. We reserve the right to accept offers we believe are reasonable and fair. One of the simplest ways we entice shoppers to buy with us is by offeringfree shipping. Surveys have shown that buyers would rather spend more money on an item if they are able to earn free shipping. In order to include free shipping and not affect you as our client, $10 is added into the listing price of each item. For example, buyers agree they would rather spend $29 on an item with free shipping included, than buy an item for $19 and pay an additional fee for shipping. Therefore, when you see these items on your invoice you’ll notice that the $10 we added into the listing price has been removed. Finally, on occasion we run special sales and promotions throughout the year. These deals are promoted by eBay’s fashion homepage and this brings in a huge volume of sales! Generally, a sale will offer between 20%-30% off fixed price merchandise priced between $49 and $199. Everyone loves a sale—Both buyers and consignors get exactly what they want! It’s a win-win!

Who prices the items?

Our knowledgeable inventory team will carefully research your items for a fair market resale value. We take into consideration age, style, designer, comparable sales, and condition. Please know, our team is flexible and happy to work with you on any price adjustments. If an item doesn’t sell after three months, our team will proactively make a moderate price reduction to help generate a sale. Rest assured, we are invested in these items and share a common goal to sell each and every item for the most we possibly can!
